Springtime Sunset
Soon the Golden Eagles will be gone … headed back to their home up North. They are the brightest spots in an otherwise dreary winter day.
Under all the snow are flowers waiting to grow.
I wish winter would hurry up and get over already. I am looking forward warm spring days with the scent of lilacs and apple blossoms in the air.
I love how hoarfrost feathers the tree branches and grass turning everything into a serene peace that is only broken by my footsteps crunching on the frozen grass below. The dream didn’t last …sunlight broke through and chased the grays away.
